Successful businesses are profitable. They produce quality goods and services, and they have great reputations in the marketplace. Looked at from the outside, they appear to be thriving. Internally, however, most successful businesses experience increasing chaos and dysfunction as they grow and become more successful. (Note: This is no one’s fault; it occurs naturally as more staff members are added, and without some sort of intervention, it becomes more disruptive over time.)


WonderOrganizations, like successful businesses, are profitable, enjoy excellent reputations and offer quality goods and services. In contrast, however, the internal workings of a WonderOrganization are seamless. You can sense it as soon as you walk in the doors: there is a spirit of camaraderie and openness. You often hear laughter. Collaboration is in full swing, and innovation is the result. Creativity and participation are applauded; people are excited about what they're doing; managers, supervisors, staff members - and especially the owner - are stimulated and inspired.
